New photos show that the new Victoria Place development is shaping up nicely ahead of its planned launch next year. Victoria Place forms a major part of the £700m regeneration scheme currently under way in Woking and will join together the existing Peacocks and Wolsey Place malls under a magnificent new atrium space. A landmark Hilton Hotel and a stunning residential development called The Marches will complete the development.
Major retailers including Marks & Spencer are set to join the retail line-up, with the popular retail chain due to open its doors in Spring 2022 . The Woking branch will be the only Marks & Spencer store within the area that will offer the brand’s full range of products, including clothing, homewares and gifts, along with a significant food hall and a café.
M&S will be joined by other key retail brands. This new, vibrant range of stores will complement the existing shopping, entertainment and dining options on offer in Peacocks and Wolsey Place.
Visitors to Woking can also marvel at the beautiful golden tower that sits in the middle of the new Victoria Place development. The new flagship Hilton hotel houses 189 rooms over 23 floors, and will offer an all-day dining restaurant, stylish lobby and impressive sky bars. In addition to Surrey’s biggest ballroom there is also an on-site café open to everyone – a perfect option after a tiring day of retail therapy.
