Italia Conti has arrived

National Performing Arts Institution, Italia Conti, has arrived at Victoria Place this week!

The nationally acclaimed Italia Conti, which has produced some of the best-known UK talent in the Performing Arts industry, has consolidated all of its current UK bases into one impressive central space in Henry Plaza. 

They kick off their arts programme with their Pre-Vocational ‘Summer school’, which will run from 1st to 5th August. Focussed on those with existing experience in dance, musical theatre and acting, the course is aimed at 12 to 18-year-olds. 

For those with a love of ballet, a specialised 3-day ‘Back to Ballet’ course will be running from 5th to 7th  September, from 10am to 6pm, aimed at those 12 years and over. An opportunity to improve fitness and fine tune technique, this course is open to existing Italia Conti students as well other local dance students with ballet experience who are not currently part of the institution. Those interested in taking part should contact radvocationals@italiaconti.co.uk – bookings are being taken up to Friday 5th August. 

For anyone interested in auditioning for a place at Italia Conti, an open day will be running on 29th October. This will include opportunities to find out about courses, how the audition process works and some taster sessions for those serious about auditioning.

With new courses afoot and a programme of winter events in planning and to be announced shortly, there is so much to look forward to with the arrival of this incredible institution in the heart of Woking.
