Everyone had Well-Being in their stride for the fifth annual Surrey Half Marathon on Sunday 11th March 2018. With a full 13.1-mile half marathon, 5k, and kids' race, the event has become a staple on the athletics calendar.
This year the event was won by 2012 Olympian, Scott Overall, with an incredible time of 1:08:37.9, and the ladies' race was won by Jenna Hill in 1:19:20.0. Following our Well-Being interview with Mark Pengelly, the local Councillor crossed the finish line in under 2 hours.
With thousands of competitors, including over 500 young people in the kids' event, the whole day was a great success. Congratulations to all of the athletes, as well as the race organisers, marshals, sponsors, supporters and spectators.
