Alison Keeley, CEO of Woking-based charity LinkAble is taking on her biggest challenge yet to raise funds for the charity.
LinkAble delivers a diverse range of services for children and adults with learning disabilities in the Woking and Surrey Heath area, including holiday schemes, crafts, cycling and drama workshops.
Raising funds to help the charity deliver essential services, Alison will be running a mile (or more!) an hour for 24 hours from noon on Saturday 24th October. While the clocks go back and the rest of us are tucked up in bed, Alison will be pounding the pavements as she aims to reach a grand total of 26.2 miles.
And this is no normal fundraiser- for your donation you can either choose the music she listens to for an hour, the outfit she wears for an hour or even the location of that hour’s run!
Break a leg, Alison!
