1st February is Time to Talk Day and CornerHouse is holding its Linking Minds meeting from 4-5pm. This is a great opportunity to talk about mental health and help plan 2018 activities to get the local community talking.
From 4-5pm they will be having a ‘Linking Minds’ meeting. This is where volunteers, clients, staff, anyone interested in mental health can get together and look at how to get the conversation going in and around Woking about mental health. They will plan some activities for 2018, e.g. handing out leaflets at Woking Train Station, holding more 'coffee & cake' events, giving talks to local organisations and much more.
From 5:30pm to 7pm Cornerhouse will be at Woking Train Station handing out leaflets to commuters. This was a great success last year with many people stopping to talk, so they hope to raise the profile of mental health, break stigma and also let people know of CornerHouse support which is local to them.
