Woking Biodiversity Partnership are running a number of 'balsam bashing' sessions this summer to remove the invasive Himalayan Balsam from Woking's waterways. Removal of this invasive and highly successful plant will help to restore native flora and stabilise the riverbanks. The sessions run for just 3 hours so please join us to help improve our local green spaces. We will be working along the Hoe Stream at Mayford Meadows.

Sessions will run from 10am - 1pm on:

  • Sat 16th June
  • Tue 17th July
  • Sun 22nd July
  • Sun 29th July
